Lecture 'Soccer passion of multitudes "
Four renowned writers address the social and cultural events around the world's most popular sport in the lecture series" Soccer passion of the masses "to be held on Thursday 10, 17 and 24 June and July 1 at 7 pm at the Cultural Center of the Foreign Ministry Inca Garcilaso (Jr. Ucayali 391, Lima). Admission is free.
The poet José Carlos Yrigoyen submit, by June 10, the lecture "Poetry and failure of Peruvian soccer," in which will review the poems that speak of the sport and poetry created by the same football . Yrigoyen believes that the Peruvian poetry, especially in these last days of decadence of our football has taken a new goal: to extract the secret to their beauty all attempts failed.
June 17, the poet and writer Abelardo Sanchez Leon offered a lecture on "The smell of the stands." share his testimony as a football and talk de las tribulaciones que sufren los seguidores de un equipo.
El sociólogo Aldo Panfichi tendrá a su cargo, el 24 de junio, la charla titulada “El otro partido: Alianza vs. Universitario en la prensa”. Los enfrentamientos entre ambos clubes constituyen desde 1928 la rivalidad deportiva más encarnizada del fútbol peruano. Panfichi explora el papel de la prensa como elemento activo en la construcción de esta competencia, en la que se hacen explícitos los prejuicios étnicos raciales, las consideraciones clasistas, las lealtades políticas y los sentimientos de justicia e injusticia.
El 1 de julio el escritor Alonso Cueto ofrecerá la ponencia “El fútbol: alibis of the war. " For the writer, football is the modern version of war, the sublimation of instinct Thanatos and the symbolic ritual of creation. Religious faith and the destruction will come together in this game that denies time and space, a representation of the difficulties, efforts and injustices of life.
