New publications USIL 2 - Three books of literary essays

A Again I take the salute to tell readers that the Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola is encouraging literary criticism with three publications on topics as classic and current disclosure of which is welcome in the second half of the year. Such is the case the last book of Dr. Camilo Fernandez Cozma Entitled HOME BODY. The poetry of Blanca Varela front of the mirror, which identifies the key themes of the Peruvian poet through figurative procedures and their integration into the Western literary tradition. The protagonists of this study are books there This port (1959) and waltzes and other faiths (1971). Within the cultural context of the author know the influence of French symbolism, the poetry of Rainer Maria Rilke and participation of Latin American literary figures as Pablo Neruda and César Vallejo . Also be given special importance to the demystification and antithesis as constants in Varela. Undoubtedly, an important title of one of the youngest members of the Peruvian Academy Language on one of the greatest exponents of Latin American poetry.

A welcome development for those who know the creative path Selenco Jacome Vega is the publication of his first book of literary studies entitled MIRRORS OF MODERNITY: Vanguard, theater experience and 5 meters poems in which offers tribute to one of the major references on Peruvian poetry of the twentieth century, as Oquendo de Amat and deep legacy for the development of the identity of Peruvian poetry. Jacome Vega's book addresses reading poems 5 meters (1928) from the perspective of the Vanguard in its various forms (such as cubism, futurism and simultaneously) and modernity expressed through experience of thinkers and film. In this sense, besides the contribution of purely literary texts will also input from other cultural events. Definitely a book to read and reread.

The latest title in this series called "Critical Thinking" by their common purpose is my first book of literary essays called intertextuality IN THE POETRY OF Emilio Adolfo Westphalen, a title that is intended to address more fully the work of the Peruvian poet from the 80's and particularly the relationships established in the texts has become the Goddess Ambarina and Children and the river two important works of our literature, such as Symbolic (1911) of José María Eguren and Deep Rivers (1956) by José María Arguedas . Comments on this study are assigned to the experts.

USIL New publications - "San Ignacio entrepreneur" and "first order", two books of Christian encouragement

I am pleased to mention that the San Ignacio de Loyola University has just published two small books of creative writing under my authorship: the story entrepreneur San Ignacio, which is about the life of the "Soldier of Christ" and parcel First, a collection of poems characterized by offering sections from the Bible and discuss the discovery of the Christian experience in secular life. Then, I will share some information about them:

San Ignacio
entrepreneur (USIL, 2010) takes us to the life of a college student who discovers the proximity and the similarities he has with the English saint by the discovery anecdotes as the Battle of Pamplona, \u200b\u200breading The Vita Christi and other events that led, after much work and sacrifice, great and profound achievements for humanity, as are the foundation of the Society of Jesus and the publication book Spiritual Exercises. For the same figure, example and work of the greatest teachers we have known was inspired by this story.

Although San Ignacio entrepreneur is not for sale, as it has been published as a gift to the entrants in the cycle ends and may be consulted in various libraries in Lima a few weeks.

First parcel (USIL, 2010) is a book of poetry that is most noticeable features break with the extension suggested by Poe for that genre and also break the trend of recent years primarily focused on the needs, wants and desires of human beings, because as the review says:

These poems, guided by a constant desire to know, understand and live the Scriptures cited in sections, lyrical lead to a process of observation, suffering and fascination with the meaning they have in every aspect of your life and answers they have for it. For that reason, the speaker leaves the trust in their own abilities, desires and perceived needs, choosing, finally, surrender their will to a greater purpose, which far surpasses any product in reality, deep sleep or happiness. First

parcel is already available in the "Gift shop" at the Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola (Av Fontana 750, La Molina. Phone: 317-1000). As an invitation to read it, I would like to share with you an excerpt:

II

germinate the world.
other times will return to call themselves such.
minds will be made one and all,
returning.
begin to be.
will be given
eyes and eyes
seats and fatigue.
thrived Furtado.
Lloverán y ascenderán escarchas.
Serán dados los motivos y los soles
y días.
Comprenderemos más de la calma
y la alegría y lo vivido.
Viviremos lejos de nosotros,
claramente.
Hablaremos callados nuestra sangre y tiempo.
Y uniremos alimentos a los de otros.

Ataremos casas, techos, maromas,
habitando.
Sonreiremos luego y todo el tiempo en arrabal.
We will hands, souls, hearts and lakes.
voices grab a tissue made land. We will love
poorly
but in this air of ribs.
will weigh anchor.
talk.
