The poetry of Blanca Varela front of the mirror, which identifies the key themes of the Peruvian poet through figurative procedures and their integration into the Western literary tradition. The protagonists of this study are books there This port (1959) and waltzes and other faiths (1971). Within the cultural context of the author know the influence of French symbolism, the poetry of Rainer Maria Rilke and participation of Latin American literary figures as Pablo Neruda and César Vallejo . Also be given special importance to the demystification and antithesis as constants in Varela. Undoubtedly, an important title of one of the youngest members of the Peruvian Academy Language on one of the greatest exponents of Latin American poetry.

A welcome development for those who know the creative path Selenco Jacome Vega is the publication of his first book of literary studies entitled MIRRORS OF MODERNITY: Vanguard, theater experience and 5 meters poems in which offers tribute to one of the major references on Peruvian poetry of the twentieth century, as Oquendo de Amat and deep legacy for the development of the identity of Peruvian poetry. Jacome Vega's book addresses reading poems 5 meters (1928) from the perspective of the Vanguard in its various forms (such as cubism, futurism and simultaneously) and modernity expressed through experience of thinkers and film. In this sense, besides the contribution of purely literary texts will also input from other cultural events. Definitely a book to read and reread.
